Christine Korbmacher

Biochemist

Dr. Christine Korbmacher has over 20 years of experience in the CRO, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries, managing clinical studies from Phase 1 to Phase 4. She has also conceptualized development programs from early preclinical stages to market authorization. As part of a cross functional team—including Data Management, Biostatistics, Medical, Regulatory Affairs, and Drug Safety—she continuously evaluates and weighs the risk and safety of investigational products against their benefits and efficacy.


Throughout her career, Christine has specialized in CNS indications, with extensive experience in developing new drugs for patients with Multiple Sclerosis (Teriflunomide), Migraine (CGRP Inhibitors), Schizophrenia (KAR-XT), and other conditions. In 2021, Christine founded Mygrate Health, a consulting firm for start-ups and small companies, leveraging her clinical development expertise. Mygrate Health also offers health coaching services, and Christine is a certified Health Coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute. Her work with small molecules and biologics has heightened her awareness of the limitations of drugs, which often improve symptoms rather than address root causes.


Christine advocates for a healthy lifestyle to reduce lifestyle diseases and the need for medications Christine holds a master’s degree in Biology from Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen, Germany, and earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the Paul-Ehrlich-Institute in Frankfurt, Germany, in cooperation with Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University, Frankfurt. She also holds an MBA in Finance from the International School of Management in Paris. Christine is Six Sigma Green Belt certified and is fluent in German, French, and English.
